The Crisis No One Is Talking About
Something Has Gone Terribly Wrong in God's Church
My friends, let me be plain with you. Since the death of Herbert W. Armstrong in 1986,
the Church of God has shattered into dozens of competing groups. Confusion reigns.
Doctrines have been watered down. The powerful truth that once thundered across
400 television stations and through 8 million copies of The Plain Truth
magazine has been muted, diluted, and in many cases completely abandoned.
And the most devastating loss of all? The key of David vision
itself. The very understanding that made the Philadelphia era the most dynamically
alive period in the entire history of God's Church.
"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is
holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth,
and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth."
Revelation 3:7
Do you realize what Christ is saying here? He is identifying Himself with this key!
It is His vision. He gave it to the Philadelphia era — to Mr. Armstrong
— and through that vision, God's Work reached the largest audience possible.
It was the strongest global message God's Church has ever delivered to this world!
Yet after Mr. Armstrong died, his successors cast away that key like it was
worthless rubbish. They shelved The United States and Britain in Prophecy.
They discontinued Mystery of the Ages. They dismantled the very
foundation of the key of David message. And what happened? The Church
died spiritually — exactly as God prophesied
about the Sardis era before it.
